Following a major refurbishment the reception area, public areas and all standard bedrooms have been completely transformed.

Decorated in a modern style, each of our 64 bedrooms have been designed with the comfort of our guests in mind. They come equipped with en-suite facilities, flat screen TV and satellite channels, chargeable WIFI, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.

The larger Executive rooms on the second floor are more spacious and have a modest seating area comprising of a couch and coffee table, ideal for those business guests who are staying long term. Family rooms and cots are available on request

The North East of Scotland is home to over 70 golf courses and we are truly spoilt for choice. Located in the town of Peterhead is the 18th oldest 18 hole golf course in the world. Established in 1841, Peterhead Golf Course was extended to 18 holes in 1908 and today, the course is seen as a classic example of Scottish seaside golf at its best and one of the toughest. Nearby in Cruden Bay is the championship course, an old-fashioned links golf course offering an internationally famous golfing experience. Last year, Cruden Bay Golf Course was placed at No 52 in the world by ‘Golf Magazine’. Both courses are also loved for their magnificant beauty and panoramic views.

Other golfing gems dotted along the North East include Newburgh-on-Ythan, Fraserburgh, Alford, Royal Tarlair, Turriff and Huntly, all of which are a mixture of links and inland courses.

At the Palace Hotel, we have corporate membership with several renowned golf courses, thus allowing us to provide an excellent package for guests. The package includes preferential accommodation rates and reduced rates at several golf courses in the North East. With our help, guests are welcome to create their own golfing package or we have several flexible packages on offer to suit all golfing enthusiasts.
