Flempton Golf Club, established in 1895 is a hidden gem amongst the Suffolk countryside. It is thought the original 9 hole course was not so much designed but evolved, however it is likely that James Braid may have had some influence in later years.
Flempton, an inland links course with pine trees and gorse, offers a real challenge to all standards of golfers. Close to the market town of Bury St Edmunds, the club has maintained its ethos and is regarded as one of the finest 9 hole courses in the country. The course and club, which has excellent catering facilities, offer visitors a warm welcome to enjoy a special experience.
