Charles Lawrie is the brains behind the design of the marvellous parkland course at Stockwood Park Golf Club. It opened for the first time in 1973, and so just recently celebrated its thirtieth birthday. It has developed brilliantly in that time and is one of the finest courses in the region, a fact its considerable membership will no doubt testify to and confirm.
