The present layout was planned by James Braid in 1930. Originally 6,600 yards, the course today measures 6251 yards and features welcoming fairways requiring an infinite variety of approach shots to score well.
Thanks to the chalky subsoil the course is playable for most of the year and is always dry with fast contoured greens. Our Greenstaff pride themselves in the way that they present the course to you and will always endeavor (weather permitting) to give you the course in its best possible condition.
Visitors and Societies Visitors are welcome at Dunstable Downs Golf Club through the week. At weekends visitors must be introduced by and play with a member. Society days are weekdays with the exception of Wednesday and on Friday there is a limit of 20 players.
